Dr. Rasha Buhamaid

Dr. Rasha Buhumaid is an Emirati physician of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Rasha is a Consultant Emergency Physician and Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences. She currently serves as Dean of the College of Medicine and Graduate Medical Education and is President-Elect of the Asian Society of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Buhumaid is an American Board-certified emergency physician with extensive experience in clinical practice, medical education, and leadership, and has contributed widely to research and advancement in emergency medicine and point-of-care ultrasound.

Dr. Buhumaid completed her residency training in Emergency Medicine at George Washington University in Washington D.C. and a fellowship in Emergency Ultrasound at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, USA. She is the President of the Emirates Society of Emergency Medicine.
