Dr. Amany Mounir Helal is a Cardiology Consultant and Disaster Medicine and Management Consultant with extensive experience in emergency and critical care, EMS training, disaster medicine, and medical education. Her professional career has developed across both clinical practice and disaster medicine, with these areas progressing concurrently throughout her career.
She currently serves as General Manager of Technical and Specialized Training at the Egyptian Ambulance Organization (EAO). She is also the Director of the Disaster Medicine and Management Diploma at Princess Fatma Academy, Ministry of Health and Population, Egypt.
Dr. Amany has extensive experience in developing and delivering competency-based EMS education and training programmes, with a particular interest in prehospital emergency care, disaster preparedness, simulation-based education, and EMS workforce development. She is actively involved in professional education, research, and international scientific activities in emergency and disaster medicine.
