Dr. Mohamed Elsayed

Dr. Mohamed Elsayed is a Senior Resuscitation Specialist at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar, with extensive experience in resuscitation education, clinical simulation, nursing education, and critical care, including 12 years of clinical experience in intensive care nursing. He holds a PhD in Nursing (Resuscitation Science) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Resuscitation Science from the European Resuscitation Council (ERC). He is an ERC instructor and course director across neonatal, pediatric, and adult advanced resuscitation programs.

He has participated as a presenter and speaker at several national and international scientific conferences, including the European Resuscitation Council Congress, All Together Better Health, Qatar Health Congress, Qatar Pediatric Emergency Medicine Conference, and the Middle East Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare. He also has two research abstracts accepted for presentation at the ERC Congress—Resuscitation 2026 in Milan.

His professional and research interests include resuscitation education, simulation-based training, interprofessional teamwork, human factors, CPR competence, nursing education, and improving resuscitation performance and patient safety.
