Prof. Zohair Al Aseri is a graduate of M.B.B.S. from King Abdul-Aziz University, Jeddah (1997). He completed Emergency Medicine residency (1999–2003) and Critical Care training (2003–2005) at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Ottawa, Canada. He is a Professor and Consultant in Critical Care and Emergency Medicine at King Saud University, Medical City, and Dar Al Uloom University, and has served as Leader of Adult ICU, MOH. He founded and directs Tele Critical Care (TCC) MOH and was the first Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at King Saud University. He co-founded Prince Sultan College of EMS, contributed to the Public Health Master program at KSU, and chaired the National Emergency Medicine Development Committee (2013–2020). He has published over 70 papers, authored more than 15 national protocols, and is a speaker at national and international conferences. Since 2022, he serves as C.M.O. at Riyadh Hospital.
