Dr. Sandra Mrad is a Lebanese consultant in Emergency Medicine with extensive clinical experience in both Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates. She currently practices at the American Hospital Dubai as a Consultant in Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Mrad earned her medical degree from the Lebanese University School of Medicine in Beirut. She completed her residency at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC), where she also served as Chief Resident. Committed to advancing her expertise, she pursued a fellowship in Emergency Medical Education at AUBMC, followed by a Master’s degree in Medical Education from Johns Hopkins University. Additionally, she holds a diploma in Clinical Simulation from the Lebanese American University.

Her academic and instructional roles are extensive. Dr. Mrad is a certified instructor in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), TeamSTEPPS™ Training, Bleeding Control, and the Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Advanced Course. She has been a speaker at numerous national and international conferences, particularly in the areas of emergency medicine and toxicology.

She is also certified in multiple advanced life support courses by the American Heart Association, including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS), and ATLS.

Before joining the American Hospital Dubai, Dr. Mrad held positions at several renowned medical institutions, including the American University of Beirut Medical Center, Keserwan Medical Center, and Mediclinic Parkview Hospital.

Outside the clinical setting, Dr. Mrad is actively involved in motorsports, where she serves as the Deputy Chief Medical Officer at the Dubai Autodrome.

Her multidisciplinary expertise, dedication to education, and passion for emergency medicine continue to make her a respected and influential figure in her field.
