Dr. Maryam Al Nuaimi is the president of the Emirates Society of Emergency Medicine. She works as an Emergency Medicine Consultant at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, with a distinguished career in clinical practice, education, and research. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from RAK Medical and Health Science University and dual certifications from the Arab and Jordanian Boards of Emergency Medicine. Driven by her passion for education, she earned a Master’s in Medical Education from Harvard Medical School. She completed fellowships in Medical Simulation at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) at Massachusetts General Hospital. In her current roles, Dr. Al Nuaimi serves as the Associate Program Director of the Emergency Medicine Residency Program and as an Adjunct Professor at Mohammed Bin Rashid University. She is recognized for her contributions to teaching and mentoring, having facilitated workshops and delivered lectures to diverse audiences, including residents, medical students, and international professionals.
