Mr. Majed Mohamed currently serves as the Head of Community Engagement and Advocacy at Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP), a leading UAE-based charitable organization dedicated to supporting cancer patients, raising awareness, and investing in research and capacity-building initiatives. In this role, Majed leads both national and international advocacy efforts to amplify the voices of cancer patients and drive patient-centered policy change.

Mr. Majed is a public health specialist with a Master of Science in Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences. His professional journey is rooted in a strong commitment to improving population health and reducing the burden of non-communicable diseases, particularly cancer.

With a well-established network across the local, regional, and global health landscape, Majed actively contributes to several high-impact platforms, committees, and global cancer control movements through his roles at the WHO NCD Labs Steering Committee, UAE Rare Disease Society, NCD Child Young Leaders Program, EMR NCD Alliance board member, as well as the CCI Asia Regional Committee (ASRC) and CCI Asia Working Group.
He is widely recognized for his leadership in advancing cancer awareness, prevention, and treatment through evidence-based advocacy and cross-sector collaboration, ensuring that the needs and rights of cancer patients remain at the forefront of public health efforts.
