Dr. Alaa Oteir is an Associate Professor of Paramedicine at Jordan University of Science and Technology and an Adjunct Lecturer at Monash University, Australia. He is the first paramedic in Jordan to earn a PhD and has more than a decade of leadership in paramedicine education, research, and mentorship. Dr. Oteir has published over 35 peer-reviewed papers and a book chapter, supervised postgraduate research, and secured competitive grants. His work focuses on trauma systems, prehospital care, and resuscitation, with ongoing national and international collaborations.
